Get some 0000 steel wool on them, that'll bring them up nicely.

I have 25/40 H&R Springs but after seeing Deako's GTI I wish I got the 35/55 springs, look better but would be far more hassle. Its really up to yourself, if you need that extra clearance off the ground then just get the 25/40

The 25/40 H&R Springs sound spot on for me, as i don't want the ride to compromised too much, plus the addition of the vw body kit in the summer will make it look lower then it actually is
Any idea on how much the H&R set is ? Is the the best out there ? I'm certainly going down the spring road as coilovers seem as complete waste of time !
On a side note, just ordered a set of road legal pressed plates from dubmeister, should be with me Monday

Emm, i think mine were about £140ish with postage and then my VW dealer fitted them for £40

ahh ok. fittings not a problem, my cousin has a garage. £140 for the springs ? i might wait until i get a few other mods done.
