any idea's peeps??
was driving home from work today and got stuck in traffic, the temp gauge went up to 110 and the warning light was flashing!! i immediatly put the blowers on flat out on hot to bring the temp down and left them on until the temp fell bk to 90 only took 2 mins, but when i got home i popped the bonnet to have a look and the fan isnt cutting in atall... even when i took the plug off the temp sensor and bridged it over.. nothing? fuse was fine (number 49 i think it was) so im lost? any ideas?

Look over in the mkV section I had very similar problems and I had to changes thermostat housing.

If the fan doesn't start my guess would be the sensor for the fan in the radiator...
