Oh Mandy that sucks so bad!
What an immature little brat that person must be! I mean honestly! What the hell where they thinking?!
I hope you get it all fixed up soon, and that maybe one day you'll see the bloke again and are able to give him a good wack in the gonads!!

Sure you will sort her out to her former glory :)
I just hate that people do stuff like that, it really annoys me.... I've hated seeing cars on here having stuff done by morons and felt so angry for them. But for it to happen is the worst feeling in the world!

Some right idiots around I'm afraid. Hopefully they will polish out, if you lived nearer I'd happily give it ago.

Yeah i'm gutted for you and the GTI Mandy :( Unfortunately there are a small population of complete CU*TS in every area. Its worse when the damage is caused by some brain dead idiot who resorts to throwing stuff at your car,I bet your fuming at the moment and absolutely gutted :(

Hopefully you can get it put right and fingers crossed that the moron who did it gets whats coming to them.
Its always frustrating to have any damage or scratches on your car but when somebody else does it on purpose its just disgusting!

Keep your chin up though Mandy i'm sure you will have the GTI looking its best again very soon

Are you still planning a full respray this year?

My GTI - Road Rage :(

Post by red6n2 »

That's out of order... I'd have chased the prick down !.

See I'm a very easy going person but I do get road rage quite easily normally I won't act on it and il just turn my music up and deal with it, it's cause we work so hard and put so much effort into our cars that when someone puts that in jeopardy by driving like an absolute muggy c*nt it pisses us off, a couple of weeks ago I had a fiesta st up my arse but so close I couldnt see his grille in my mirror I slowed down and he wouldnt move so i sprayed him with my rear washer jet and he got closer so I lost it and broke checked his ass !.

Luckily he didn't crash into me but I thought f**k it you can explain this to your insurance company, I had the same car behind me earlier today and I thought here we go obviously I have a recognisable car and this guys car is pretty unique too... He kept at least two car lengths away from me :-).

At other times when people are hurling abuse I'm normally quite placid and am
Not a huge bloke but am sizeable enough that most of the time I don't get hassle just a discerning look as if to say... "prick" and then they drive off.

Some people eh... luckily those scratches look more like blemishes to me so some careful polishing should sort those out no problems (Y)

Words can not even explain what i'm thinking about him! I may have shed a tear tonight...... I am a girly girl really! :(

I've been saving for something which I was hoping to get done before the re-spray because the paint isn't really that bad.... Looks like i'll have to switch my plans around and get the spray done first..... Even though I wan't the other thing sooooo much! :|

Yeah I didn't see his plates, I can't even remember which car or colour it was thats how quick it happened! I'm sure it was a red new Passat though.

I'm a girl, there were two scary blokes in the car. The passenger threw whatever it was. I wouldn't have stood a chance......... As feisty as us Geordie girls are! Haha 8)

Thats horrible :( Hopefully it polishes out.

It sickens me the behaviour on our roads. I once ended up in a situation where I genuinely felt like my life may have been in danger because of a guy who had just lost it.
a couple of weeks ago I had a fiesta st up my arse but so close I couldnt see his grille in my mirror I slowed down and he wouldnt move so i sprayed him with my rear washer jet and he got closer so I lost it and broke checked his ass !.
This happened me about a year and a half ago. Fella was tailgating me like that. Couldn't see the grille or headlights he was so close. I didn't slow, didn't brake... just stuck to my guns at 30mph (that was the limit). The guy overtook me and rushed to the next set of traffic lights to wait at the red light. I cruised along and arrived at the light just as it turned green.. don't think he appreciated that. He went a different direction from me at the lights and I never thought anything of it. Until about a mile up the road I was just driving out of a wee village onto a B road when I looked in my mirror at the NSL sign and saw him approaching very quickly. He overtook me.. drove down the road a bit and positioned his car as a road block. Marched up to the window and near put his head through it. "What did you think you were doing on (insert road name)?!"
"The speed limit?"
"Just you pull in here until we chat about something..."
I agreed..
When he pulled in I drove off as quickly as I could and have never been so scared in my life. Reported it to the police later.

Argh! Sorry about the wheel! That's so annoying!
Any chance you can claim off the council? Pot hole damage and all

Haha that dog picture made me laugh. I used to have one of those dogs. Except luckily mine was a powder puff. So it had furr all over rather then only on the head. Lol

Sucks about your parcel shelf!!! Really bad service :(

I know, everyone says it will 'polish out'..... I doubt it! Hahaha. I'll have to get another wheel and just use this one for emergencies!

Hahahaha I laugh at the dog pic every time I see it lol, I bet they look so much prettier with fur! Haha

I actually hate parcel shelf man! I rang him on Friday and he got really snotty saying it would be done this week.... I hung up on him!
