Free insurance offer
I was just wondering about this free insurance that VW are doing. I ordered my car in March, and the expected delivery date is the end of June. The dealership told me that if VW stop doing the insurance offer before the end of June then I wont get it, surely it should go by when you ordered the car rather than when you pick the car up? It isn't my fault they take 3 months to build a car

Tell them you will refuse the car if you don't get it. Sounds odd to me.

Read the T&C's of the Free Insurance offer. In there somewhere it says for cars ordered and collected by x date

Yeah, it's a bit stupid. I think it says something like "by the 27th April", but they had the offer on in March and it said you had to order by the end of March. Hopefully they will just keep extending it, although it'll be just my luck for them to end it right before I pick the car up.AJ_7 wrote:Read the T&C's of the Free Insurance offer. Re: Free insurance offer
I originally went to the dealer to see about buying my polo in September. The free insurance offer was on then, but you have to be over 21 to get it. I wasn't 21 til 8th October, and the salesman couldn't confirm whether or not they'd still be going the free insurance then, or if it would end in September. So I waited and luckily (i thought) it was still on, so I got it.
I doubt they'll stop it, they just want you to think they will so you will hurry and buy the car from them lol
Plus, I've heard on the radio aren't they now giving you 10k miles worth of fuel for free with the new polo as well?

I know they are definitely doing a £1000 deposit contribution, which I'm mega pee-peed off about. I've lost out on that just by ordering a few weeks earlier.
