1999 1.4 8v VW Polo 6N

Hi All,
I am pretty new to this forum and was looking for some assistance.
My 6N is currently Not Starting, It was going fine until two days ago. I just can't get it to start. I am just wondering if there are any common faults that may be causing this.

check the coil pack, thats the most common fault but if engine isn't turning over or you hear a clicking sound then check the battery if no noise or starter motor if clicking
