Cheers guys! :)

Just ordered a bonnet bra for motorways and gonna go and pick up a touch up kit for the stone chips already on there. Quick question, anyone know where I can pick up a pair of the clip on headlight protectors?

Just make sure you use the bonnet bra sparingly because a lot of people have suffered from paint fade when using them (which doesn’t polish out)
As for the headlight protectors they are very difficult to get hold of these days, keep a look out on eBay and the for sale sections (forums).

A couple of years ago you could get a set for £7.00 brand new but they don’t make them anymore so finding a new set will be really difficult.

Thanks for the advice :) yeahh literally just using it for too and from Uni journeys, I've seen the damage they can do when you leave them on  just not worth it . . . I looked on eBay for some but the only pair i could fine was for £15 with bits missing :? so just gonna have to keep checking I guess. Oh no way! so cheap :o I've heard they stopped the production of our car mats as well? Mine only came with front footwell ones the back are a rubber set :(

Iye they stopped producing the rubber mats too which is a shame although you can still get the black cloth mats

Its been 10 years now since production on the 6N2 polo stopped so Volkswagen can now legally stop stocking the parts.
Parts for the GTI's are going to be harder to get hold of in the next couple of years :(

That would be nice but classic insurance doesnt apply until the car is 25 years old (I think)

Not many GTI's left these days, hopefully their value will start going up soon

it might be 20 years cos i think mk2 golfs are in the classic cars range.

if the value goes up soon will be good for us whos got the GTI's but people looking to buy might be put off :(

No worries I'll get in the garage 2moro to look for you.

As for insurance I'm rather lucky it's on our company insurance so I actually have no idea what the cost would be :-P

Thaanks :) . . . My first quotes were throwing up all sorts of ridiculous prices (£2000-5000 :|) bearing in mind I've been driving for 3 years now, gave Sky Insurance a call and managed to get it for a price that's not gonna clear my bank out lol
