Yes, you are doomed.

Those tyres are way too big. Ideally, you need 195-45 tyres on 15" wheels... If the wheels are nice enough, you may just want to swap the tyres for ones that fit.

Sorry!

Alloys

Post by Mylittlepolo »

Thats still 80quid saved. Could go a long way toward a back box of s/s system! I get my tires from a second hand place, they are practically brand new, hard to tell the difference now, the bloke picks them up from scrap yards, etc. He charges a reasonable price of around 20 quid a tire and 2.50 for balancing. Might be worth trying to find one of these places in your area, just depends how much you want to spend and if you want it to look perfect or just very very nice.
Sounds like your polo's going to be looking awesome by the time you finish with it. Good Luck!

Cheers mate.

Yeh I am going to have a look around, I just took my wheels off to see how they fit, they do actually fit in the arches, but it will rub like hell on the wheel arch at the back end of it against this black lump.

I mite just have a quick browse in trade-it see if anythings going in there.

Thanks for the ideas and the feedback ppl!

There isn't inches when you are driving it and going over bumps etc etc!

50's are the best i think for 15" because they still have some suppleness in the sidewalls.

Well Im getting all new alloys now. Done my dealings at my local Alloy Place.

Not 100% sure what wheels, I may even go for 16z. Otherwise 15z.

195/45/15

Probably Fox 5 Evo or Fox 6

Is that what you have? Your sig says 15" Fox Alloys.

I dont like the rounded edge look to the edges of the spokes. And not too kenn on the groves on the spokes either. I mean nothing wrong with them still very nice but I prefere these.
