Thought it was time to update my progress. i recently purchased and fitted a full set of refurbed Audi tt calipers from a member off the forum. I needed these quite badly after my stage 2 remap which really put my old brakes too the test, also the filled my speed line wheels alot better as my old calipers looked lost behind my wheels. Have to say for the money these are one of the best upgrades and now the braking is now amazing.

I then purchased the new 008p dump valve as i wasn't getting on very well with my old forge split r dump valve, i was forever adjusting it trying to set it up. The new valve is spot on looks real smart in black.

I then decided to free off the induction side and bought a pd160 for 90 quid well expensive now and also purchased a 57i induction kit. this really made the throttle response alot better and dump-valve alot nosier :D my dads now in the process of making me a custom air intake and air box outa stainless as i feel because the induction filter is at the back of the engine its gonna suffer from heat soke.

Loving this car ;) I've got a whilt one too and just got it stage 1 mapped :) such a difference.

Just a few questions, how come you can hear the dump valve so much even though it's a recirculating one?
Also, how did you order the pd160? Did you go into seat and buy it? If so what are the part numbers and was it a straight easy fit?

Cheers, Alistair.

gonna keep pd160 until dads finished making my my custom one then sell it, it makes a slight difference as part of the air filter is getting cold air suppose its better to have that than nothing atm but isn't ideal :(

went direct to seat got abit off because of being in the motor trade. haven't got part numbers sorry but think lukey gti has as I got them off him ages ago. dump valve only sounds alot noisier when a cone filter is fitted sounds alot better tho :D

very much worth the money, rides better than standard and shocks are fully adjustable too.

they have been on 15k miles now and still look new being stainless.

mines got a great factory spec, i paid abit more than i should have but its worth it in my eyes.
