Welcome Alex!

Loving reading this progress thread. Just started up one of my own as I'm new on here too (currently waiting on the moderators...)
I have the same issues with my headlights, so been wondering what technique I can use. Didn't realise turtlewax did a kit so that's excellent, I'll probably do the same; your outcome looked brilliant!

I ended up doing what you said about the red grill trim. Had to buy another a few weeks ago as my original strip went pink! I read somewhere on here though that spraying it with 'halfords heat-resistant red paint' works, so might try that before I buy another one.

I have to say, your paintwork looks amazing. Really deep and shiny. The weather is a nightmare though, I know how you feel! Everytime I wash the car it seems to rain after!

What other plans have you got for it?

Hey :) sorry only just seen this post for some reason :s . . . Ahhh look forward to reading it :) . . . Yeah neither did I but I was watching vids on youtube how to do it and an advert for the kit came up :) Thanks it really was worth it!

Ahhh yeah heard that happens a lot, Luke on here (Ashcroft) gave me the tip of coating it in wax too to stop it fading :)

Thanks man :) the previous owner looked after it pretty well to be fair to her, can't wait till the summer so I can go all out and detailing and not have it rain when I'm finished  haha

Basic ones at the moment just gonna get the wheels refurbed, callipers repainted :) gonna lower it at some point but probably when i've finished Uni so I don't have to worry about getting loads of paint chips from the motorway :|
