Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
As title says, testing the water with a for sale as I fancy moving the car on to some1 else really now I'm finished with it.
Offers around £5000 as it is with everything ready to show, spare custom g60s with tyres and tax n Mot etc.
Possibly one of the best gti's in the country and best interior. Don't want to split for parts as that is long and would break my heart lol!
So if you know any1 hook them up with me.....

Unfortunately, splitting for parts is the only way you will see that money.
The Interior is a very personal thing and not many people will pay extra for it. It's a shame as its a stunning car but you can buy a hell of a lot more for 5k than a 10 year old 6n2.

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Shame to see it go up for sale mate but we all move on eventually
I know it’s an old car but I would still say it’s worth £5000 all day long, I remember that show 6N2 TDI last year went for over £6K so you can easily ask 5K for yours.
It's just a case of finding the right buyer, anybody who appreciates cars will be willing to pay extra for a top condition/spec example.
You can’t really value a car purely on age, you have to take everything into consideration and the 6N2 is different to most cars because it’s very rare.
Advertise it on a few forums and stick it both on eBay (classified ad) & pistonheads.
What's the replacement going to be then mate? DC5 ITR or S2000?

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Yeah il be getting the dc5 itr in championship white and change the seats and loose the worn bulsters lol...! Bride yes yes... Ha! I have the quad for fun so I think the integra is a more sensible choice as I would kill myself in the s2000 I think. To much s**t weather and roads are horrible where I live....
Yeah 5000 is to low really il advertise it for more as like you said it's clearly worth it, headunit alone is £350 lol. Front speakers are £600 so that's nearly £1000 on the minimum stuff off the sounds... 6n2 gti's like mine Are worth good money without the bits iv added.....

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Personally i would seriously struggle to price this ! Its obviously a very well looked after car with endless amounts of time and money put into it to make how it is now. You can look at it and go o its a 10 year old car butttt if you wanted to measure it up now gti's are at there rock bottom around £2000 to £3000 for a good example with good miles and service. Your asking for £5000 if you can modify a standard gti for £2000 £3000 to make it show standard id be impressed. Yeahhhh some things are personal taste but whenever you change something someones going to say it looks good some say your an idiot
If your not in a rush to sell it i would ask for more than £5000 but you will have to wait a while to find the right person. Other than that figure out how much you want for all the parts you have modified figure out your total plus selling the car standard break it then for standard parts your way ? Either way good luck with the sale anyone can see you have spent silly time and money and hope it goes to a good home !
( dc5s are tasteeee ) ( forged turbo 350bhp dc2 is more taste

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Good luck selling it - always loved the Integras! Better choice than the S2000 though IMO, although anything revvy and Jap is hard to beat in many ways!
How much do the 1.8t converted ones tend to go for? I know this is a slightly different target market, but it can't be far off that sort of territory. . .

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Yeah about the same £5-6. Depending on power and all that but them converted ones are always s**t paint jobs or tatty inside and are just built for speed, mines built for speed, comfort, style and suburb body work. Kinda thinking inwont sell it now but if inget above £5000 il sell..... Then I need another 2grand for my 7000 budget on a tidy integra.

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
7K will get you a nice integra mate with relatively low mileage, the top examples are priced between £8500-9000
Championship white is the nicest colour IMO, although the Integra is such a good looking car it could get away with being any colour.
They have huge potential mate, I know a lad with one running 261bhp N/A, leaves my civic for dust!
Get yourself some Spoon goodies and you will be sorted, I reckon you keep the OEM Seats though those JDM Red recaro's look awesome.
I'm after a set of red JDM EP3 seats for mine but they cost £800-900 lol that's second hand too
Ooooofffff

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*

Any1 for tyres lol???? 2 x 165/50/15s aswell for the stretched bad boys ha...

Good choice mate, S Drives are quality tyres!
They last ages too unlike Toyo's so £210 is pretty sweet for a full set

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!FOR SALE!.*
Well iv got the g60s on at last but my god they are scrubbing like mad. Due to still being low for the show wheels.
Will have to raise it up about 10-15mm : ( but atleast I can use the car and be comfy. Fed up of stretched tyres for dailys...
Show only now/..
Il show you some of my work aswell as the car I'm working on is very special, 1905 silver ghost or earlier I think.. Painted everything on it apart from the wheels and chassis but worked on the chassis etc.. I was to small to paint it lol...
PICS.
