Yeh I was well pleased with that Craig :-)
I honestly wasn't expecting gains really due to it being 11 years old so can't wait for manifold etc to all be on :-)

You had much interest in yours yet?

Personally I wouldn't sell, it's such a beautiful example of the GTI and you've out so much into it no1 will ever appreciate it as much as you!

What happened to the plan of keeping it for your first born as a first car??

Nice results that Luke :) you should be chuffed with that

You never know with Dyno's but most seem to be ok give or take a couple of BHP
Is there any possibility that your GTI might have been mapped previously?

Nice figures mate. I am 100% going to swap my CDA for a typhoon after experiencing yours. Sounds much better. Then Phil will be having the BMC off me

I'm well chufted Ben :-D

Don't think it was mapped before me cos the lad I bought it from was from club polo and wanted to keep it truly standard so doubt he had it mapped and his brother owned it before him so it's either the typhoon gives bigger gains than what I thought or rollers were slightly out as you said... Give or take a few bhp

Matt if you thought mine sounded better than your bmc shoulda heard it inside Alan jefferies it was roaring a treat and echoed really loud lol

Nice one Luke :)
As Craig said with a Manifold, De-CAT and Map you will easily see over 150bhp 8)

Sorry I should have put 140 not 150  lol
Sports CAT's are really good and dont restrict the performance too much, just ensure you get a 200 cell or 400 cell though because the 100 cell SC's wont pass an MOT.

Yeh I remember you saying my best option would be a 200 cell :-)

150 would be very doubtful I think

Yeah 150 is hard to get I got 147.8 or so near enough is good enough I reckon lol! With a sport cat I reckon 140 tops....

The Sports CAT killed the torque on my EP3 but the power figure was still pretty healthy, I reckon without the Sports CAT I would have pulled another 3-4bhp but more importantly another 9-12 lbs ft of torque

It's worth getting a Sports CAT though just to keep everything legal for the MOT's
