Will 280mm discs fit FS-iii calipers that use 256 discs

Just snooping through ebay and found a few sets of drilled/grooved discs which range from 256-280mm, just wondering if the 280mm discs will fit my 256 fs-iii factory setup?

No u need new calipers etc for them to fit.

Search for some pd100 brake upgrades to find out more

Its the carriers that need sorting mate, theyre all one piece with the hub carrier, to go any bigger it would need different hub carriers from say a Fabia VRS or Ibiza FR with calipers to suit

I didnt purposely forget it as thats what the missus has ... but try to find one in a scrapper compared to the others

appreciate all the info lads, disc upgrade isnt essential for me atm. was just browsing through ebay and the drilled discs looked pretty tasty, but currently mines have plenty of meat on them. just unsure whether it will fail mot or not cause its got ALOT of corrosion on the edges.

They just check the stopping ability. You can if you don't like the rust build up wire brush it off
