Abotu cutting the kick-down function maybe if you speak to them they might be able to tailor make something for you as they say that what is available there is for most consumer needs if you got bigger turbo application they will do a custom extra maybe(well reading that last line is what i understood from it but may be wrong)...problem would be you being on this side of the world but im sure thats a litlle technicality :D I did message Guy to find out if it was a Aus only product or will it be available worldwide sometime...just waiting on the answer to that.

The front badge needs the grille taking off to get it off safely. The grille has two torx screws. Holding it in place and then the plastic clips need levering out by depressing the clips in the top through the rectangular holes. Firmly pull these out and then this will give you access to the lower clips on the grille which are found on the inside of the grille. These need levering up to finally remove the grille and there are about 5 lower clips.

I've not tried removing the rear badge yet, but I've been told it isn't hard to separate the chrome section.

If the rear badge is anything like the 9n3, then its just double sided tape holding it down and will need to be pulled off with maybe some fishing wire

Bit of an update.

Had a play with the car on Statllers Dyno today and it made 220WHP!!!

For everyone in the UK that works out at 255bhp. Not too bad to say the Polo still hasn't been fully tuned to the hybrid turbo. Two runs also gave over 257bhp, but the dyno operator held off the accelerator pedal to avoid kick down and so the torque curves were lower. The one below was the best combination of bhp and torque.

The car is running silky smooth at the moment and the overall mods have produced a lovely motor. 8)

There are a few 300bhp cars about running OEM injectors. On UKMKIV's they have 1.4tsi that has over 300 bhp, but not 100% sure if that still has stock injectors. IIRC he had to upgrade before he got to high 300's.

May I suggest you have them tested and cleaned by a ASNU dealer so as to ensure all your 4 cylinder receives equal amount of fuel and atomisation. This is because the margin for error is closing in. You should also get better Fuel economy during leisure driving.

AFR's and EGT's are very stable as the car stands. On logging there is zero timing pull on any cylinder. The car really is running very smoothly and rapidly.

The next step will either destroy the engine or be as mad as a hatter, my fingers are crossed for the latter.

Should get me the 270+bhp of my initial target though if it works.
