the single bulbs wont light that much up and you need to add resistors to then,

get some strips mate there around £5 on ebay it will be alot easier.
what do you plan on doing with them anyway if you dont mind me asking

not posted on her for a while, not much has been going on :( havnt got the money to do all the things i would like to so the polo is sat in the garage until i can afford some stuff:(

i felt sorry for it so i decided to tackle all the general random scratches, some were pretty bad. came out amazing! i used some g3 professional scratch remover amd i HIGHLY recommend it :D

i didnt take any pics because they was just random scratches around the car,
the door sills and under the handes were coverd in tiny scuffs but now looks brand new :)

then i debaddged the back and also removed all the tape from the doors ready to put the bump strips back on.
anyone who hasn't already debagged use a toffee wheel instead of tcut and other stuff to remove the glue/tape
SOOO much easier and no where near as messy :)
Image
i am going to color code the badge inserts aswell maybe do the badge black i dunno

then it was time for a clean up :) ( ignore the scrap waiting to be picked up :L)
Image

after coat of wax 8) i was REALLY happy with the result for just a wash and a quick wax,
a nice reflection shot :)

i need some spacers bad, looks terriable :(

Really is that simple then haha, cheers for that.
Also does it only light up the footwell coz I'm worried it will light up more of the car and annoy me at night if u get me? Lol

well the led strips i use can be cut to size so if you cut it down it wont be as bright as the full strips,

but mine are fine just a nice glow not bright and annoying :)

got the bumpers sprayed up today
Image

buuut....

it turns out halfords candy white is NOT candy white :( i wasent happy with the bumper strip anyway

soo this happend
Image

you cannot sand the bumps properly in the top and bottom and i was not happy with the finish so i would rather take the strips out and do it properly.

the strips looked fine until i put them on to the car, it is alot more "creamy" than it should be

so i got pissed off and am starting it all again :@ the handles were done with a proper brand spray and the colour match was perfect but the bump strips look so stupid being a diffrent shade :(

i also cleaned the throttle body as it was running quite rich, i didnt take any pictures of it off becasue my phone was dead at the time but the end reasult
