Lowering a polo gti

Post by DMWRIGHT »

Ok, so I'm going to lower the polo a bit (not a lot 35 mm), I have been in some debate now with a mate who reckons my ABS could be affected either during installation or once the kit is fitted - can anyone confirm this, or is it bull ??

I would of thought it would be a straight swap and nothing touched when it comes to ABS - am I wrong ??

Plus apart from tracking is there any other procedure when fitting a spring kit that needs to be done ??

Cheers

Hahaha

He's talking out of his Jacksie.

I've slammed mine over 70mm and the ABS is fine.

You just need to do the Tracking and Camber Adjustment after you've lowered it.

I'll be honest and admit I don't know that much about cars (although I'm learning!) but even I know that lowering a motor won't affect the ABS functionality of the car, in fact it should improve your braking as there is a lower centre of gravity!

Get it lowered, handles a damn site better and looks the nads!
