Have a look about the Audi range, lots of gen 17" to choose from which are perfect and available pretty cheap. I got my TT rims with tyres for £350 all in.

I bought my TT wheels second hand, check out ebay for bargains. I know one of our guys at work is thinking of selling his Superlegara replica wheels with nearly new tyres which will fit straight on your Polo, ill ask him what he wants for em.

As for reps it will allways be obvious that they are reps as RS6 wheels arent made by VAG in that stud pattern or size. But to be honest the last sets we got in were of much better quality than ones previously, certainly no worse than TSW or the like. The only gen RS4 rep wheels you could get would be for an Audi A2 which are pretty rare second hand and very pricey new.

Like I said quality is not better or worse than any other in the price bracket. I'd be happy with a set. I would like a set of A8 rep wheels for mine, not sure if they will go over the brakes though.

The RS4 replica's are even better than original RS4-wheels.

The original RS4-wheels are weak and get damaged very easily.

Its only the actual RS4 wheels that bend, the modified 8D0601025AE1H7 wheels don't, either way they wouldn't fit a Polo because of the stud pattern.

A2/A3 'Avus' wheels fit 9n and 18 inch TT's do as well (confirmed by me, only thing was they had TT size tyres on so I couldn't steer it!)

Ive had 18's one mine briefly, but it doesnt handle well and tramlines quite badly. If your going to run 18's you need 215/35 18 tyres which aint very forgiving.

Stick with 17's and 205/40 17 tyres which are nice and cheap and your a winner.
