Just thought i would make a start with the Polo Forum as I'm new to Polo's but not to VAG's.
So here is my beauty before i decided to sell up and move on to something a bit more practical , still regret selling this car to this day but sometimes you have to part with these things all because I'm not a millionaire, just yet
My VW Corrado 1.8 16v KR.

Anyway that's gone now to a fellow member from Edition 38, with that gone i needed a new runner so this got purchased....

Given that i have been a bit busy recently with other commitments, i did get round to doing this, best £7 i have spent to date on a simple mod.
BEFORE

AFTER

Then i need some music as i didn't have a H/U when i bought the car. so this happened.....

Its not my final install and i do plan to re-fit into the lower tray and blank the top but it will do for now. Surprisingly its look pretty decent sitting that high up, luckily it has an adjustable tilt function to adjust to screen otherwise this simply would work given the angle the H/U sits at.

This brings me up to now pretty much, got some goodies this week to carry out the Oil Service, picked all the below up for £40, not bad eh

In terms of plans for the car, given the condition of it how it currently stands, I'm really looking to go down the OEM+ route, to find a clean and fully maintained 6n2 GTi is proving difficult so i think it will be a great credit to the car it self.
List is as follow,
First things first - There is a nasty dent in the rear boot lid which i want to get sorted.
Lamin-ex front fogs into yellow.
Source a set of 16" RX2's, better gap fill in arches but will refurb my 15" BBS's with a grey center and polished lip an an interim solution.
Maybe and i say maybe - Vinyl the roof gloss black.
Re wrap B Pillars as the job isn't the best.
Mirror Caps - Gloss black to match lightly tinted windows and black B Pillars.
Long term plans - Smooth front and rear bumper.
I don't really want to tinker about with it too much as i said, its hard to come across a nice original 6n2 GTi.
So that's all for now folks, comments and suggestions welcome.
Veejay.
