I've just been through this whole thread and I have to say your car is spot on! Love how you have kept its intended look and added subtle modifications. I'm not a fan of the whole 'euro' look either, so your car is a breath of fresh air!

Good new with MOT mate but that's to be expected with such a fine GTI on less than 40,000 :-p

I've got mine in a few weeks time and am not looking forward to it with all the new regs :-(

Thanks dude thats cool to have someone appreciate it :) .Subtle mods are what it's about in my opinion, they look great out the factory just need some minor adjustments haha.

Well today the Polo got a decent wash.Unfortunately i didn't bother with all the panel photo's etc as i was doing it with a friend and didn't want to slow up the process snapping away (Felt bad enough him giving up his time).

I wont bore you all with the whole process/products was a good thorough wash of wheels and body work, Clayed to remove as much other as possible, Car washed again and then dried, Kestrel DA polisher over all panels, Polished cleaned off and panels quick detailed, Panels sealed, Panels waxed. Plastics bought back to life, Wheels sealed and tyres dressed.

Few pictures i did manage afterwards.

I love how clean and oem this polo is, it makes mine look very OTT, nice job of retaining its originality, i might of just made that word up but you know what i mean :-)
