How does it compare to your old Polo GTI then mate in terms of performance?

Its quicker for sure. Its so different, no luxuries like the polo. Feels and sounds like a race car.

Looks awesome Chris! And congrats on Devon dubfest, was goin to pop by but was near bath pickin up some dare reps for my mate and just wanted to get home lol

Shame you couldn't make it to the GTI meet last week but no doubt you will to the next :-)

Got the mk1 back today, new cambelt, replaced the cv joint and sorted out the other bits ready for its re-mot.

Got 300 yards up the road and the constant velocity joint went. :(

So back in the barn till tomorrow at the earliest.

At least it looks pretty when broke.

Dude this car is awesome, i would love to have a mk1 project if only i had the time and a garage, looks like you done an amazing job of bringing back to its former glory, hopefully i get a chance to see this beauty at some meets :-)
