I have some ideas for induction kit pipework, but want to see what other people have done.
Have people just mostly used the BMC CDA and K&N Typhoon ones?

The Typhoon kit comes with a long feed and small feed on the GTI.Aquavalver wrote:Both very nice! What kind of paint or red shade do you use for the rocker cover?
Just wondered if there was any reason why the K&N Typhoon system pipework was in 2 (?) pieces instead of one?
Ah yes, one GTI that I looked at had the shorter version with red pipework.6N2 GTI 00 wrote:The Typhoon kit comes with a long feed and small feed on the GTI.Aquavalver wrote:Both very nice! What kind of paint or red shade do you use for the rocker cover?

Craig is running the long feed in his GTI which is why you can't see the air filter, it's only visible when you are running just the small feed
Yeah the gti came with red leads but some dealers used black ones when they needed replacing as I think some dealers get red or black depending on how many red ones are left. It's more luck if you get red ones mate. They do sit awkwardly in the bay I just greased mine and it seemed to slip down better.Aquavalver wrote:What colour leads did the GTI come with as standard? Do you have to get certain ones for them to fit properly? As like I just mentioned, the heads of mine don't seem to fit in the plug lead recesses too well.
