I'm using sportmaxx on my cup wheels and they seem great. Not done many miles on then yet though.

Got Hancook V12 Evo's on my wife's GTI and they seem really good and i'm always impressed how good they feel in the wet.

Thanks for all the replies, I best get looking at prices etc now, proxies seem to be relatively cheap too so I'm leaning towards them at the moment.

I'm with Joe on this one, I have them on mine and i think my mid 13sec pass on them proves they have the grip and I am finding them a really well wearing tyre.

Ummm... What do people think of Nangkans? I know someone who can get me some REALLY cheap all in, so I'm leaning towards them now?

I have tested Nankang s2.
Its not for sport use and really when its wet its funny.

Otherwise its "okey" tires in the dry like rover220 said
You get what you payed for tbh!
