The GTI effect?

Post by Yeahhluke »

Does anyone else seem to always have people driving up their arse, or "trying" to overtake you literally all of the time?

Its like people see the GTI badge, and they always have to try it on with you? does this happern to anyone else or is it just me that seems to attract all the idiots?

I thought it would get this when I bought the car but very rarely do, suppose it depends on mods and mines standard at the minute.

I never get it. Probably due to how slow I drive however. Had a little race with a 172 the other day and absolutely demolished him after he rudely undertook me at the traffic lights. I only like to race when I'm side by side with Porsches or Evo's, thus being I like to hear them roar.

I think that's just the way people drive these days, with no respect for others. Especially when they're in a rush to get to work. People deliberately get in the wrong lane at roundabouts because the queue is shorter, then cut you up changing lanes. Audi drivers seem to be the worse though!

Yeah often get this . But I enjoy it haha. Sometimes when people in 1.2,s get up behind you they probably just want to see your car go specially when it's (young lads) saying young lads and I'm
Only 20 haha

I find most people are supprised by them, not a lot of people know (Myself included untill I went to a VW showroom and pretty much put a deposit on mine, wasnt even looking for a new car tbh! Just fell in love!) that there is even such a thing as a Polo GTi, let alone the powerhouse it contains under the bonet

Most people I meet pretty much think I have took the badges off a Golf GTi and its like a 1.4 or something

this is the feeling i get, i dont think people think its a real GTI so they try it on with you, might de-badge the rear so they wont even suspect anything

Amazing idea :D The same thing happened to me when someone nicked my rear wiper cap and snapped off the washer jet tip in the process  but I was just left with the pipe end that could shoot a jet of water behind the car in the same fashion with hilarious results :D

Going all Attenbourough for a second

It works for these!
