Black and Purple Polo GTI
Re: Polo 9N3 GTI - Build Thread *Black and Purple*
I have some caliper paint at the ready just didn't have to do it this weekend due to being at e38 but should be done this weekend if all goes to plan
Re: Polo 9N3 GTI - Build Thread *Black and Purple*
Petrol Cap Sticker?

Re: Polo 9N3 GTI - Build Thread *Black and Purple*
I bought this for a car
hopefully it'll set of the front bumper nicely

But... I'm thinking about doing it purple?
Is that too outrageous? Or just stick with the boring black?

Re: Black and Purple Polo GTI
I think leave it black. If you start doing big items purple it will just stand out too much and will probably be too much... Keep it subtle is my opinion. Although I do have red wheels and am going to get bright green ones for summer and I like bright colours... haha
Re: Black and Purple Polo GTI
Well its not going to get done until the weekend now, but hopefully im going to prep it for paint tonight if i can get round to it, and paint it before sat morning when its going to get fitted.
Other mods to come this weekend aswell
:
- Wrap wing mirrors in purple
- Tint fog lights purple
- Finish decorating / painting my engine cover and other bits
- All new HID look bulbs (these might get done as soon as i get them though)
- Spacers
- Rear pressed plate (finally)
Need to crack on really, all this stuff is building up and the GF is getting annoyed haha
Then all thats left done do asthetically is The lower Honey-Comb grilles, and new wheels (which im still currently in the process of working on
)
Then comes the power mods

Re: Black and Purple Polo GTI
I am looking forward to seeing this!
I think purple might look pretty damn cool on that front lower lip.
But if thats purple does it mean you have to wrap/paint your sideskirts purple too?
When i installed my front lip, my car looked odd not having the side sills red also (for some wierd reason the bottom edges of mine were painted black when i bought it?) so i used vinyl to ensure it looked the same all round!
