how long are these supposed to last and does anyone have links to replacement? cant seem to find part numbers for them.

I think its the Bosch A928s ones, need to double check as the car is in the garage at the moment.

And has anyone compared the Bosch blades to the original VAG ones? Not too impressed by the OEM blades - they work okay at first but have started to get quite noisy and streaky in only 8k miles!

Hey Ash Believe it or not I have still got the original ones on my car from new so almost 9 years old and they pass the mot every year. I believe the bosch ones are very good and aren't as expensive as the stealers oem ones.

Mine are from new, 02 plate 135k on the clock, time for new ones LOL

And I thought I was being cheap replacing the every 15k I think I'll get a set of Boch blades at some point in the next fortnight. The OEM ones on atm are doing my head in and they've only been on for about 9k miles since December last year...

I think that I've said this before, all Polo 9N with aero wipers fitted at factory get fitted with Bosch wiper blades. Its even written on them as I discovered when I first took the blades of my wife's car.
