hi all,
my 03' plate polo 1.2s has done 106000 miles and the ride comfort isn't as good as it used to be.
I'm thinking of replacing the shock absorbers and need some advice.
Can anyone say if the following are of good quality?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370665106505? ... 1423.l2649
If there are better quality/value ones available please tell me!
also, approx what will a garage charge to fit new shocks all round?
thanks

Re: Advice on new shocks
Can't tell you from experience, but the price looks too low for a top quality product.
I'd be looking at Boge, Monroe, Bilstein etc (after ringing the main dealer for a price) to get actual OEM quality - Otherwise, I've fitted KYB stuff to a couple of cars (my local parts factor does them, and I get a good price) and have been happy, though have never done big mileage on them.
