Oh wow, it's been a year since I updated this...

Nothing much has change at all, just maintained and its on the BBS' for winter. Still loving it everyday I drive it.

No. 99 relay allows you to program the timing of your wipers. Nothing major.

How easy are these 99 relays to fit?
And do they literally just replace the existing one?

Yep, just pull one out, and put the new one in.

I struggled for access/grip on the old one, but otherwise it's simple to do. :)

Pretty useful as well!

Oh excellent. They seem widely available on eBay.
How do you program them? Is it by certain on/off of the intermittent wiper stalk?

From memory (I've not driven mine in the rain for aaaaages!):
* start in the 'off position'
* go to intermintent
* go straight back to off again
* wait for the duration you want the interval to be (so until you want it to wipe next)
* go back to and stay in intermitant

If you just leave it in intermitant it'll default to a set time, like the standard relay. Really clever IMO considering it's all mechanical!

Yeah just like on the Fords. Sweet.
Yeah very clever.
What number does it replace?

And Vauxhalls too :)

Err, 19, I think (or 16!). If you can't find out I think I've got the old one somewhere and can dig it out for you.

Okay no worries. I'll look at getting one first etc.
And see what access is like, but judging by the effort I had to go through to wire the back of the head unit to the boot it probably won't be an easy task!

Its 19

Easy enough to swap. You need to take the other relays out first so you can grab it mind you
