Neither, IMO they both look naff. Leave the original one on.

IMO: Leave the original one on unless you're going to make a GOOD job of smoothing the badge recess in the bonnet - that's the thing that makes so many de-badge jobs on these cars look nasty.

Why don't you just blacken the front badge? Good alternative to the debadged look imo.

why ask which looks better? it's your car go with what you want, don't build a car to other peoples tastes.

Nice to share opinions though - If it were my choice I'd also get neither, but I'm not a fan of the debadged look. When I had my 9n I was after one of these for ages:

Chrome grille from the Polo Highline sold in Germany, probably available from eBay.de

As suggested above, paint the badge black perhaps :D

Have to admit I personally don't like the debadged look. I do however like the highline grill but only on certain colours of car. Fussy I know but we are all different.

They'll both be exactly the same. As said though you'll have trouble smoothing out the recess nicely.

The recess can be found from the FK website, about 2.5 pounds, pretty cheap

The only good looking debaged grill for me is the Mattig one but it is really expensive Image
