It's best to just do what you prefur as its your car :)
It will probably look more classy as they are but more practical with the red and add a bit of colour :) Do it red...
I always wanted them red but when I saw them polished and the quality it just messed my head up.

Also if the centres are red then having the calipers red doesn't work for me so thinking to paint the calipers black.

As mentoned all this choice is hurting my brain so just going to order my new discs and pads sort out getting the front brakes on perfectly then decide on colour of caliper and if I will paint the wheels.

I see :/ You have the luck of not needing to have this all done quickly so you can take your time to choose. I think it could work with red wheels and callipers as long as they are the same red of course.

Im getting my callipers done silly colours

Over the next few months I will be making some changes to the car and tidying a few bits up I'm unhappy with.

One of the main things I was unhappy with was the stance/lowness of the car.

Now I don't want a car that catches every stone on the road but wanted it lower than it was.

The front isn't an issue as I have quite a few more turns left to go but the rear was as low as it could go with adjusters in and with the adjusters removed you can't fine tune it.

So the answer was shorter springs and luckily for me GAZ suspension company is only a 20 minute drive away so I popped in and got some new shorter springs with some new adjusters.

Wasted no time fitting them but will have to wait till I have sorted the wheels and got it back on the ground before I can adjust it to the correct height I'm after.

As you can see from the pics the springs are shorter so that's one job completed.

That's close!! Don't paint the calipers, 1 micron of paint may catch!
Going to look nice though - can't wait to see it finished.

watch out with that, if you drive hard or do a trackday or so, the brakes may touch the rims..
because everything gets verry hot and it expands.
it happend with a friend of mine and his impreza, a good thing is you will notice when it happens

Thanks adzpz, turbomier & greypolo9n3 for the heads up but there's a couple of mil breathing space so a little paint should be ok plus the BBS will only be used as show wheels so hopefully be fine.

No way its just a car. Built to be driven although to be fair it spends most of it's time under lock and key in the garage.
