Rothe motorsport in Germany for 225bhp.

The only other turbo kit for the GTi (in the UK) was snapped up by someone from this site at inters, flick through the GTi forum to find it! (or use the search) He was looking at 200bhp.

there are a few, can't remember who they all are, probably the best would be advanced autosport technologies but they are as slow as feck but have the bonus that they bring all the best kit in from Germany. Won't be cheap!

225bhp in a Polo GTi  presumably you'd want quite a bit of suspension and chassis work to cope with such a massive power increase? That'd be quality though, especially if externally you kept the car largely stock and set about frightening scoobies/evos/skylines? :D

can't imagine the costs of such a conversion though... £10k+ with all the necessary engine- and body-work?

AAT do throttle bodies and a load more goodies in a tuning kit for 165bhp at a cost of £6k!!!

TSL do turbochargers for the 1.4 16v and the 1.6 8v only (approx +50bhp).

GMC do Superchargers for the 1.4 16v and the 1.6 8v only (approx +35bhp).

AAT's wesite mentions something about a subframe/mounting kit for the 1.8T engine. You will have to check with them.

Might just be an idea to get the Golf GTi if you are that desperate for the ptssh sound (I take it thats the only reason you want the turbo?)
