225bhp in a Polo GTi
presumably you'd want quite a bit of suspension and chassis work to cope with such a massive power increase? That'd be quality though, especially if externally you kept the car largely stock and set about frightening scoobies/evos/skylines?
can't imagine the costs of such a conversion though... £10k+ with all the necessary engine- and body-work?

turbo
theres a compnay in germany that seems to various bits for polos - b and b automobiltechnik - www.bb-automobiltechnik.de. also if you have the cash they shoehorn a vr6 engine in and turbo charge it.
AAT do throttle bodies and a load more goodies in a tuning kit for 165bhp at a cost of £6k!!!gargoil wrote:there are a few, can't remember who they all are, probably the best would be advanced autosport technologies
TSL do turbochargers for the 1.4 16v and the 1.6 8v only (approx +50bhp).
GMC do Superchargers for the 1.4 16v and the 1.6 8v only (approx +35bhp).
AAT's wesite mentions something about a subframe/mounting kit for the 1.8T engine. You will have to check with them.
Might just be an idea to get the Golf GTi if you are that desperate for the ptssh sound (I take it thats the only reason you want the turbo?)
