and they are DOTZ alloys from the beauty known as eBay 
at the time i bought them, i liked them because nobody had them but now i see them on quiet a few cars in my area. im not to keen on the white winter steelies but they save my alloys from the salt should be putting some 9n3 rear lenses on soon and gonna de badge the back of "polo" and "1.2" and sticker bomb both front and back badges and maybe have a tinker underneath the bonnet with a few goodies I could do with some winter wheels too.
plus have a few niggily issues to sort out like the heated mirrors not working o/s/f tyre keeps loosing air on my steels interior light bulb blown all the little things that bug me about it haha i was going to colour code it eventually cos it has some marks here and there that could be tidied up at the same time but again its all down to money and time might get it done in the summer atleast then i can use my other veedub while its away being painted 
I think that, as you'll find, most people on the forum prefer to keep things oem.
