Scott's Gti Polo

Post by scotty733 »

Going to move my thread into this section..

So here is how it started!!

After months of looking for a white gti polo i finally found this one situated in North Wales! So i set off from N.Ireland on Thursday to pick this one up!!

Its a 2006 model with only 29k on the clocks, its a real credit to the previous owner!!

My plans in the near future are;

Coilovers
Milltek exhaust
Carbon fibre bits
Dump valve...

Here is a few pictures;

These arrived yesterday;

I also de-wipered the boot and fitted mud flaps..

I sourced a brand new set of AP coilovers at decent money, so lifted them on thursday and had them in Friday night!

I put my red Gti badges on and put lamin-x on the fog lightd to tie in with the head lights, heres a few pictures...

My Gti footrest came today, it finishes the interior off!

I put some red tape behind the GTI for a wee touch, i didnt manage to get a picture of it in place..

Image

The final result..

Image

I had my Lenso wheels sitting about doing nothing so i put them on too see what they looked and sat like!

I think they need some colour :)

And i think i may have found a set of wheels :)

We tried the Montreal's off my old polo on, and i'm well happy with the out come...

So today i managed too get tyres on the front two wheels. I'm going to have to buy 205's now for the rears as we couldnt get the 195's to stretch!

Hopefully should have tyres on the rear wheels by tuesday! Here is some pictures with the 8's on..

Top work man, car looks stunning. Best colour for the GTI in my opinion and those wheels are the bomb.

Very nice car mate! Im curious as to how you fitted front mud guards since the sill/moulding is kinda restricting this? Any Help? And also where did you buy the brakes from?
