Solid flywheel conversion

Im thinking of doing this to my Polo GT TDI has anyone done this is it a good idea or should it be avoided?

You mean single mass? Yeh ive got one. Only need it if you plan on running more than remap power tho?

i`ve got one for my (std) 100pd sport but not fitted it yet, i got a mk2 golf g60 flywheel and a golf/corrado vr6 sachs clutch kit..
best kit for the job according to all the golf mk4 owners.
