It's the fog lights positioning that's different, on LHD cars it's on the left not the right so would need rewiring? Could also raise an issue come MOT time :|

Foglight and reversinglight is different.

When there is only one of each, the foglight is allways on the side of the car that's closest to the center of the road and the reversinglight is allways on the rear corner away from the drivers side.
So the have to change sides from RHD to LHD. :)

Cant we set some settings using VCDS so that we can use LHD LED tail lamps? So that fog lamps wont light up when engaging Reverse and fog lamps still works properly. Come MOT time just swap back and recode VCDS.

New full LED tail lights

To throw a spanner in the works.. Im not a fan.. Think they look too cheap..

If it was me.. Id change the bulbs to CREE LED (expensive but good) and do this to tail lights which I have done.

But thats my opinion :)

That mod looks good Chrispy!

I agree the rear LED lights looks bit cheap.

Which Cree's did you get?

Thanks! Very easy to do, just time consuming :)

Nothing yet - but quick search on ebay and you find some for £14 for pair.
Will be getting some when im comfortable laying down over £60 to do the entire set :)

I just got a set of Dectane Full LED tails lamps but they are in LHD. Without considering issues with MOT what could I do to make the white reverse light light up instead of the red fog lamps when I engage Reverse gear? VCDS? Wirings? Take the LED lamps apart? Thanks in advance for your inputs.
