Recently changed my brake pads as the old ones had worn on the front.
I changed them for Jurid brake pads. These were recommended by the store, as a middleish quality pad.
Its been about a month and they are squeaking excessively now, almost every time I brake, not a sharp squeak but a long noticeably loud squeak.
At the time of changing the pads I had noticed that the disks had worn a little, but was advised by the garage that they should be ok for at least another 24 months as we don't do much mileage in the car. They had a small lip of about 2-3mm on them.
Will be taking the car to garage on weekend to get it looked at.
however has anyone had any problems that are similar? or does anyone know what it could be? is it the disks/pads? do I need to copper grease it?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply.
This was not done at time of fitting, the 'mechanic' said that because the pads have this little black pad on the back they do not need to be copper greased as I did say are you going to put some copper grease on them.
That will be my first port of call on Saturday when I go round.
