God damn! the 6n2 is such a pretty car, yours shows that off to the full.
Whatever the location, its a shining example. Keep seeing mine outside, not as sorted as yours but it hurts seeing it sat there. :(
Stick with it man, need to keep some GTI's on the road!
All the best.

Done a couple of things since the last post nothing special though!.

Brought some new rear tyres!
Fitted a new coolant temperature sensor.
Turned outside temp on the climatronic.
Made the alarm chirp when you lock the car.

I NEED to get the wheels back together as its only a few weeks to Run To The Sun!

Slight Update!

I brought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180840507493

I was not sure if it was really going to work! anyway i thought sod it i will give it a go!

so far the unlock and lock works! I just need to get a key cut and sort the immobiler out. Im unsure if i can use the chip in the key or transfer the one out my spare key.

i will update once i get that far!!

Well i got the blade cut today for £10.

Any got home thought i would just try the key and see if it started the car. As i expected it started then cut out. So out come vag-com it was saying the key was unauthorised. I looked on the website about coding the chip to the Immo. But the 3rd value had a 0 in it which means it not compatible with the immo box. Anyway i have a spare key so i pulled the chip out of that took the key appart and removed the glass chip and put the old key one in its place and boom it worked 1st time.

So now i 100% know you can convert the GTI key to flip. Its actually a very easy conversion.

I used this to take the key appart

I used this to program the lock unlock to the car -

Thats another OEM mod done!

Here is a pic

No real updates here!

I put the OZ Turbos back on drove to RTTS and back now the tyres keep going down. The front passenger disc has warped again and its generally driving like a piece of s**t.

Im getting quite close to getting rid of it. I've lost all intrest in it and want something faster!

Ive spent £180 on some new parts to hopefully fix the issues with the disc and steering and bushes which have rotted out. The MOT is also due at the end of the month.

I suspect by the end of the year it will be the end of the polo.

Did I see your GTI at early edition in the overspill carpark? I think it was still on black BBS's at the time?
