288mm Brakes on a 9N3

Hi guys

Got myself a mk4 288mm hubs, disks, calipers, carriers,etc..... and some braided VRS lines

The electrical ABS sensor connectors are different, is that just a cut connectors off and crimp job?
I know I have to swap ball joints over, anything else to watch for?

I have a 2008 Bluemotion 2.

I'm pretty sure you'll need new front hubs for a 258 to 288 conversion.

Golf Mk4 hub carriers? Didn't know they fit. I spent ages tracking down some Ibiza TDI 130 hub carriers...

Guys as I said in 1st post, I have 288mm golf mk4 hubs also!
Do you know of anyone doing this upgrade on a 9N polo, seems Im the only one.

My question was whether Golf Mk4 hub carriers would fit the Polo...

And I've had all the bits ready to bolt on (Ibiza Mk4 TDI130 hubs and 288mm calipers / carriers) for a while. Just need to get round to fitting them.

wheel bearings are totally different plus the drive shafts may not fit. I may have a ste up available once the better weather is in as I am putting my polo back to original spec and it has the correct hubs and calipers.

So can Mk4 Golf 288mm hubs/upright be straight swapped onto a Polo 9N? The pictures and part numbers on ETOS are very very similar for the Golf and Polo Gti

Did you get these fitted? Can get hold of a set of mk4 288mm hubs, discs, carriers etc ans wondering if they'll fit my 9n
