Pics of gti interior with the grey carpet

Am i one of the unlucky ones that got the grey carpet with the interior of my car i want to put it black but seems like so much work . im recently about to put a polo gti interior into my car which is the dark grey seats with the no one on the inside of them and dark grey door cards just a pain that i have light grey carpet etc. has any one got any ideas on dying the carpet or is that just gona end up one big mess. cheers

Its probably easier to just fit a dark carpet

Any dark carpet will fit providing you get a 3dr or 5dr to match your car.

ye i know ye haha just the hassle of trynah remove the centre console etc as the seats are coming out next week anyway

Its not particularly hard - its about 10 screws and two nuts and it just lifts off

Haynes manual tells you how to remove it if you havent got one already.

Hiw do you remove those clips that hold the car mats down

You dont - they are part of the carpet. You have to pull the backs off once the carpet is removed.
