Hey! welcome :)

Love your car, has come on a long way since I saw it at last years Polo show. The colour is fantastic!.

I'm on the 'other' forum also but I don't frequent forums so much these days.
Anyhow, I have a red 16V which is standard apart from a slight lowering.

I'm selling it soon I think to most likely get a Fabia!.

Profesh: Grad in Biological Science (my name is now officially followed by "BSc (Hons)"... w00t yay), working nightclub bar staff and hotel conference gopher-monkey. Occasionally in a pharmacy but think i'm a bit too low class for them to be comfortable with me! Going into an NHS training scheme where i'll get ANOTHER degree if i'm lucky
Car: Knackered Mk3 Square, 1.0 CL H-plate in some b*stard unmatchable shade of navy blue.....
Mods: so far, only a better stereo & speakers, mk4 wheels, fogs and roofrack (when feeling cheeky...
Future: either ditching it for something else, or (breath): new seats (same type, but fresher), tacho'd clocks, induction kit, de-cat, homebrew hybridisation, lowering... but an MoT, intact fuel tank, and some new tyres will do for now.

Welcome, and again.... niiice ride :D
(good luck chubbs - sounds like a nice one; highly envious of anyone who can walk straight into a grad job, but then i did get a douglas)

How do chap. Sweet ride, I have to agree with everyone else on the colour!

Right then:
Name: Simon
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire (not Wales!)
e-mail: [email protected]
Profession: Graduate of University College Chester, BSc (Hons) in Comp. Sci. & Geog., 50/50. Now I'm an IT Techie for a local accountancy firm.
Car: 2000 1.6 GTi, black, 3 door, with a fixed-up pedal box :D
Pics: coming soon!
Newest Mod: I bought a Richbrook black ally tdh and theres a Poppy Coral thingy on the dash... do they count?
Future: If I can get over my chronic modding laziness and get up to Wrexham, Demon Tweeks will kindly supply me with some Eibach lowering springs. Then I need my alloys refurbishing, which I'm investigating atm, but probably in Wolverhampton, and in black chrome with a diamond cut rim. Nice. And finally a Powerflow 'stealth' exhaust that will stay hidden behind the stock rear bumper will require a trip to Stafford I think!
