It will cost quite a bit to get your car cleaned and approved I'd think, but it will be cheaper than buying a secondhand car as your eyes will water when you check out the prices. It seems that Oz really really protects its home market in a way that would make the French smile, new car prices seem close to UK ones though and garages charge a fortune an hour - just does not add up to me. My daughter bought a 1998 Holden Barina (Opel Corsa) for $2000 with 132Kms on the clock, that was a "good" price for Perth as it seems that they tend to go for $3000>3500!!leah GTi wrote:were about in oz are you? i might me moving out there later in the year and i will be shipping my cars over with me. what the vw scene like out there.
