In a word - brilliant. I can't imagine the space without it. Handbrake operation is a bit tricky, but it can be folded vertically for urban trips which is ideal because you don't get much time to rest your arm anyway. Be one of the few in the country to have a genuine VW armrest in a mk4 Polo
