Has anyone bought, or even seen a chrome boot strip?

Had one of these on my 9N3 and looked quite good. . .and I see VW offer one on the 6R but I can't see any decent pics of real people who have them!

Do you think they look awful and tacky?

I've seen a polo with one. It didn't look tacky but it didn't add anything in my opinion.

i have the strip on the back of my polo got it from e-bay germany same as my scuff plates. a lot cheaper and from a vw/audi dealer.

I had one on the back of my black 9N3 and it was adhesive (like 3M sticky tape which you stuck on). Perhaps this is the same?

What is your opinion of it on nimbus grey as that's what I have lol.

It looks great on black and white. . .but I have no idea about grey.

I think it would look cool, chrome is nice on black and grey.
