Polo wrapping! Yay or nay!?

Post by Jay1991 »

Sooo... I'm after a colour change. It's a deep blue at the mo thinking to go white. £850 and the possibility of it going cheaper for cash.

Paint work isn't in great condition, it's been keyed lightly on one side and to the metal on the other. Few dents and a touch of rust between the bumper and quarter pannel by the wheel, and a big (ish) dent/scrape under the passanger window. It all sounds worse then it is, but could deffo do with some tlc. And with that comes a respray so it's deffo the cheaper option as I can just fill where I need to then cover it all up rather then the paint job, Is it worth it ?

Anyone had any experience with wrapping a car?
What's the finish like?
How is maintenance?
Swirl marks more noticavle ?
Is it Hard wearing of weak from stone chips?

Basically need to know everything there is to know about it haha.

Got my roof wrapped looks spot on no problems there, but if u get a whole car wrapped they struggle to wrap corners without getting crease marks. When a car is first wrapped they look quite good after seeing my m8s fiesta but after a while they start to look old, they don't wash very well and it's easy to get water under the vinal
