I think this looks amazing, I think I'm drawn to the monzas the most, can't find a decent used set with tyres tho :/ if I could get some 17s I'd buy them instantly the only ones I've seen are in Bristol and I'm not really interested in travelling if it turns out to be a waste of time.

Well the monzas I wanted never appeared and after finding a stockist they only had 5x112 :( but recommended I look at a few other sets they sold e.g. Wolfrace

However I loved the look of the TT RS wheels and so happily went for them and glad I did.

Why TTRS when the A1 Rotor is exactky the same? Exept it fits directly onto to the Polo 5x100 and all.

I'm no expert on alloys haha just go off what I like the look of the wheels I got are 5x100 it was the monzas that were 112. I get your point on TT RS & A1 rotor being the exact same... But which ever I got it would look the same :/ haha confusing even myself there!

Does anyone know how much I could get away with lowering the car? I've seen the vw lowering springs and some Coilivers... I don't want to "slam it" haha but would like it to sit a bit nicer :)

my next set of plans hopefully this year -
RCD 510 unit
Lowering springs
Cruise control
Wind deflectors
Bulbs - (long over due)
Sill Trims
Bonet sound deadener
Arm rest (unsure yet)
Pedals & dead pedal
Flat bottom steering wheel
Brakes & Calipers - possibly change rear drums to disks as well
Roof spoiler
Short aerial - still not found a suitable option

I like what you've done with the car, looking really nice man 8)

I was looking at exactly the same wheels as you, RVS, TTRS and Monzas. I also have a reflex silver Polo (5dr) and I'm in the same boat, I've found some Monzas but will have to travel a distance to collect.

Cheers matey :) the monzas are really nice the only set I found was located in Bristol :/ however after I got my wheels loads popped up in the for sale section haha. I'm happy with mine tho but it's sat a bit high so will need to drop it definitely :)

Your car looks amazing with those new alloys on it! I'm thinking of buying those exact springs, so if you do go and buy them give me a message to let me know what they're like!
