Show me your 17" wheel setups

Post by C17LJR »

As above,

Get your 17" setups up for all to see.

I've just ordered some 17x7.5" wheels for the wife's polo. Also fitting H&R 35/50mm springs.

The et on the wheels is 47 but they're 5x112 so I'm just working out whether I go for adapters or redrill the hubs as we're not wanting any poke.

So, lets see them

well i just had these 17" audi 5x112 rims on my polo but took them back off as i wasnt happy running the hub adapters (dont like the idea of bolts galore that all need to me tight)

I have eibach -30mm on front and H&R on the rear. Dont worry about poke as my rims sat just nice with the adapters

selling the adapters if your interested

Thanks craigy, seen you're selling up on svag.

What is the original et on the a3 wheels? Not clued up on the polo set up yet.

Thanks for the offer, got 3 sets of adapters here already. More stuff that I buy and use but never sell :)

I have a set of Sparco Assetto Gara wheels 17X7.5, ET35 on 25/40 H&R springs. No scrub issues with Federal 595 EVO tyres at 215/40/17.
Oh....Having a Whiteline sway bar also helps.

Any side on pics? Gti_joe?

Sorry Mash, not really a fan of poke if not required, and the wife definitely isn't.

This will have a sensible drop and tyres, got my own cars to go sill with though :)

Got a few sets for my golf that we tried but she didn't like, managed to find some passat wheels in the end that she likes.

Doesn't sound like much but I think it'll look great, very OEM. Pics of trial pics here...
