Ok, so I'm looking at some MK4 golf alloys. VW Montreal's. They are PCD 5x100. Centre bore 57.1. ET is 42.
Will these fit? advice would be much appreciated guys

Yeah, pretty much the same as the original polo wheels.
Is it monty 1s or 2s you're looking at?

I love those wheels. I've purchase a set and install it on my New Beetle.
I've painted in dark grey:
On a Polo it would look like this:
I'm also considering doing the same to my Polo (if I cant get hold of a set of Boavista's)...

any ideas as to the costs involved? I've got the standard 15s on at the moment so I'd need recalibration of the speedo etc wouldn't I? sorry for all the questions I haven't done anything like this before

Cheers for the pictures, they look really good! The ones I'm looking at have been refurbed in black

They are monty2s that are shown above and 16".
No need to recalibrate the speedo, you'll be using a smaller profile tyre with the larger diameter wheel so it'll mostly even itself out. If anything, you'll be 1-2mph out when you're doing 70mph so no need to worry
