parts help: trim triangle in front of mirror?!

Hi all,

just bought a 9n polo, in electric blue, needs a few little things doing here and there which I can wait to get stuck into...

First up is a mirror cover which is sorted, then a piece of trim which I can't for the life of me find - its a triangle of black plastic with rubber surround that sits in front of the wing mirror - anyone replaced these before? A part number or name would be amazing so I can track one down.

Will post some pics up and a build thread too as I have a small list of tasteful mods to do to it. cheers

search ebay for people breaking a polo and just describe it to them. i've no idea of what its called either but i imagine trying to get it new will be pretty hard.

I know the bit you're talking about, but haven't a clue to describe it! It's that piece of trim that is fitted to the front wing and sits flush with the wing mirror unit to make it a triangle shape isn't it? I don't think that would bring up much if you typed it into google

Try removing the part (unless it's missing) and finding the part number on the back. If it's missing then perhaps go to a dealer and they'll find the part number for you no problem. If it's too expensive then walk out and use the part no. you were given to get it cheaper
