Once again didn't get around to working on the car this weekend, ended up helping the girlfriend fix a noisy exhaust, pretty chuffed with our handywork using a tin of heniz some exhaust glue and a jubilee clip! Can't imagine it will pass the mot, but more than adequate until she can afford a new exhaust...

Just a few pics of her polo too !

However since the weather was bearable today managed to give the car its first clean, just a quick one didnt have time for wax & polish but was a bit depressing finding a few small scratches here and there, but ahwell!

Still waiting on bits to arrive so i can change the god awful headlights but hopefully work can carry on this weekend on the door cards and lock!

Fitted the new headlights this morning, think they look really good with the carbon effect badge and colour of the car!

Also had her first polish, couple days ago now but vast improvement from before! Weather wasn't great for photos either :(

Just a little question to anyone reading this... Any recommendations for alloys? been looking at the usual (ie, borbe A's, ATS Cups & RX2's) wondering if theres anything else out there that could suit my polo?

Just bought the honeycomb fog and lower grills for the polo, anyone got any advice on removing and fitting the middle lower grill as i've heard its a little tricky,
andddd the one i bought dosent have much in the way of the clips left on it so whats the best method for getting it to hold in place?

Lack of clips?

It secures with clips. You might be able to get it to stick with something like tigerseal

Mine had no clips, just zip tie it on thru and round the bumper, I know it's zip ties but it works and you can't see it
