Its as if its running out of petrol

when first starting my car in the morning and driving up my street my car seems to loose revs like when running out of petrol but by the time i reacht he end of the street it is back to normal. Has anyone else had this problem if so how did you overcome it

I used to have similar problems and also with starting. Turned out it was a bad connection of one of the vacuum pipes that go to the airbox.

What engine do you have?

Also, try cleaning out the throttle body with some carb cleaner, as I found this really helped when I had trouble with cold starts.
