Small update, still a work in progress, needs spacers and wheels painting. But I've changed bulbs again with chrome indicators and better LEDs. But kw coilovers have been on for a month or so now.

Couple of small updates, coilovers settled and running nice, 20mm hubcentric spacers on the rear and new plates.

Remap is next, found a local guy to me, doing custom maps and dpf delete for £350, which is almost too cheap not to do.

I'm trying to keep changes subtle, any ideas on other changes? I'm thinking gloss black wheels next if anyone's good at photoshop

Company called dynotune based in c**t, sent me an email quote today :)

I just think black and red would tie it all together? But maybe you're right.......

I'm not normally a fan of black boavista's BUT in this case, i think that they would look brill on your car. :D The red and black would look really good!

Thanks for the photoshop :) I'm liking the black! Think it's going to be done, I've got rid of all the chrome and silver so I think it'll suit it.

Dynotune are based in scun thorpe (won't let me use the full word) I have a quote on email, I'll have it done soon and report back.

Does anyone have ideas on getting the rears lower on coils? I have helpers, cups and bump stops out in those pictures, would like just a bit of tuck.......

Red 1.6tdi - low and getting there

Post by benjamin »

So the backs scrub a touch on the arch liner over bumps at speed. Has anyone taken their arch liners out?

I'm thinking of doing the front and backs so I can space the fronts out aswel.

You could raise your coils up 5mm? or get the spacers turned down 3/4mm

I emailed dynotune...no reply been well over a week :(

Going up is not an option for me, I really want it lower if I'm honest. Think it might just be a case of bite the bullet and take them out...........or drive slower...... :P

On the off chance, does anyone know of a 6r gti grill for sale, or how much they are from the stealers?
