Tools for removing wishbone?
Tools for removing wishbone?
I have a sorn polo with two brand new front wishbones but it is a non runner, i have another polo which needs new wishbones and rather than getting them i'd rather just take them off the sorn'd one and replace, but have no idea what tools i need or if it's an simple job?

You need a 13mm socket to remove the balljoint bolts and anti roll bar links, and either a 17 or 19 depending on the age of the polo to undo the left and back bolts
Its not the easiest of things to do I will say that.

You shouldn't use an impact driver on the wishbones due to the captive nuts they use. It's very easy to rip them out!
